Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo — revolutionary electric hypercar with AI and future aerodynamics

When it seems that everything has already been created in the world of high technology and automotive design, Xiaomi does something that captures the imagination. This company, previously known for smartphones and smart electronics, today goes beyond the familiar — and creates Vision Gran Turismo, an electric dream hypercar with artificial intelligence, future aerodynamics and ambitions to change the very idea of speed and human-machine interaction.

Historic moment — from smartphones to hypercars

H3: First technology company in Vision Gran Turismo

As part of the famous Vision Gran Turismo program, which has existed for more than ten years and was previously available only to automotive brands, Xiaomi became the first technology company in history to be invited to create its own hypercar for the legendary Gran Turismo series.

This is comparable in significance to a smartphone maker suddenly finding itself on the racetrack alongside the world’s top automakers.

Design inspired by wind and speed

Philosophy of the 'Sculpture of Wind'

Xiaomi chose a unique approach: instead of bulky aerodynamic "wings" and spoilers, the hypercar receives a sleek form as if carved by the wind. All lines, channels and openings in the body guide airflow to ensure maximum efficiency, balancing speed and handling.

The result is an incredibly low drag coefficient of about 0,29 and an ideal balance between low drag and high downforce.

Technologies of the future inside and out

AI support and the 'Sofa Racer' cockpit

This is not just a beautiful hypercar — it is a machine with artificial intelligence capable of "sensing" the driver’s mood and adapting the car’s settings to them.

The concept’s interior received an unusual name — "Sofa Racer". Instead of familiar racing seats, there is a soft, enveloping cockpit structure reminiscent of a cozy sofa-cockpit, but with control of all functions at the level of a racing car.

Graphics and aerodynamics — unique solutions

'Accretion' wheels and active aerodynamic control

The concept’s wheels are equipped with magnetized covers that remain stationary while driving, which reduces air resistance and improves brake cooling.

And the Active Wake Control system manages the airflow at the rear, pushing turbulence far behind the car, which increases stability at high speeds.

A virtual supercar with real impact

Although Vision Gran Turismo currently exists as a concept and will appear in Gran Turismo 7, its influence is much broader. It is a symbol of how technology and the automotive industry are coming closer together.

Xiaomi also demonstrates how its expertise in software, AI and mobile ecosystems can transfer into the automotive world, bringing a new wave to the development of hybrid and electric vehicles of the future.

Conclusion — the line between reality and dream

Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo is not just a hypercar in a game or a concept model. It is a sign of a new era, where technology, aerodynamics and artificial intelligence merge into a single creation.

It is an inspiring step for the entire industry: when a company created for phones and gadgets enters the territory of supercars, it does more than surprise — it sets new standards for the future of mobility and human-machine interaction.

The future is already here — and it is electric, intelligent and incredibly captivating.
